Kumar Kannan.S
Kumar Kannan .S is the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of PurpleTab Software Solutions. A strong passion towards utilising technology as change agents for traditional businesses has resulted in his involvement in three start-ups. Started his career at National Commodity & Derivatives Exchange Ltd (NCDEX) in 2005, and was involved during its inception year onwards in the creation of cutting technology processes to ensure transparent & efficient commodity trading in India. In 2007, after a one year stint with TCS as a financial services consultant, he co-founded Letzplanout Entertainment to provide B2B and B2C solutions that will ensure a level playing field for traditional theatres with Multiplexes. Kumar Kannan has always been focused on creating solutions for the entire value chain of an industry using Internet based solutions as a primary medium.
Kumar Kannan .S is a post graduate from Great Lakes Institute of Management in 2005 with MBA in marketing operations. An entrepreneur seasoned thru years of experience in ecommerce space, marketing B2B & B2C solutions, building committed teams, creating a strong network of businessmen & industrialists and actively involved in entrepreneurship forums.
Kalayana Sundaram.G
Kalyana Sundaram (Kalyan) is the co-founder and serves as Chief Technology Officer of the PurpleTab. Kalyan is a post graduate from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani (BITS, Pilani) in 2005 with M.E. in Software Systems. Prior to founding PurpleTab, Kalyan founded and serves as Chief Executive Officer of Great Innovus Solutions Private Limited, leading social web apps and mobile applications development service provider since 2006. Prior to venturing into Entrepreneurship, Kalyan started his career with a small stint at Reflexis Inc in 2005, and then at Mantra Technologies in 2006. Kalyan is an Internet entrepreneur founding startups in the networking, data and mobile application industries.
Kalyan is a recognized expert in mobile and pervasive computing, he owns a few patents to his name as inventor and is a frequent speaker at various technology societies and universities. Kalyan is a recipient of the prestigious BPCL Scholarship for Higher Studies, winner of IEEE Myron Zucker Award and recipient of the Lance Stafford Larson student scholarship from IEEE Computer Society for several of his presentations and research papers.
